Office Policies and Procedures

Hours

Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We are closed on Wednesdays.

Physician hours are by appointment only.

After Hours/Emergencies

A physician is always on call and available to help you with urgent problems. After office hours, holidays, and weekends, you may reach our on-call physician by calling (601) 376-2791. Prescription and non-urgent problems should be handled during normal business hours.

Insurance/Payments

We accept most insurance plans, PPOs, Medicare, and Medicaid. Please be prepared with your insurance card at the time of your visit. All insurance changes must be given to us at the time of service. Your insurance company requires our office to collect co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurance amounts at the time of service. Please be prepared to make these payments upon your visit. We accept Mastercard, VISA, Personal Checks, and Cash.

Prescriptions/Refills 

Prescription refill requests will be taken during normal business hours. When calling for routine refills, please have the name of your medication, dosage, quantity, directions, and your pharmacy phone number ready. Routine prescription refills will be telephoned in within 24-48 hours of the request unless otherwise notified.

Referrals

Our office requires 72 hours notice for all referrals, with the exception of emergency referrals. Please contact our office as soon as you make an appointment with a specialist so we can process your referral promptly.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

· Your insurance card

· Your driver's license

· A list of current prescription and/or over-the-counter medications you are taking, including dosage and frequency

· Pertinent information regarding your medical history

· Co-payments, deductibles, and/or co-insurance payments
